Litigation can be defined as: "the process of taking a case through court. The process is most common in civil lawsuits. In litigation, there is a plaintiff (one who brings the case) and a defendant (the one against whom the case is taken)."

The most common litigation cases are in respect of;

• Road Traffic Accidents.
• Accidents in the workplace.
• Damage to property.
• Breach of contract.
• Product liability claims.
• Employers and Public Liability.
• Professional negligence (including medical negligence)
• Disputes over Wills
• Landlord and tenant disputes
• Employment Law including Redundancy, Unfair Dismissal & Equality Legislation.
• Defamation and slander.
• Property disputes.

We are proud of our very successful record in dealing with litigation cases for our clients over many years. We have achieved some notable successes, a number of which, as reported cases, have become part of our common law system.

We do not subscribe to the suggestion portrayed by many insurance companies, that a person injured as a result of another persons carelessness should be regarded as a social outcast for daring to seek redress for that injury.

We would be happy to advise you on any litigation matter, without obligation.

Have a look at our Legal Articles page to see some of our articles on these topics.
